Precious in His Sight
The Festival of Lights is celebrated each October in Myanmar and many Asian countries. Our neighbors release fire lanterns into the sky and light candles around their house, some for fun, but many with prayers for hope. So many of our neighbors have lost hope because of the difficulties of the past three years in our country. They do not know where to turn. As we enjoy the beauty and join in the celebration by lighting our own candles and releasing our own lanterns, we also pray fervently for the Light of the World to bring Hope and Peace to our beloved adopted peoples.
